    The Czech-owned company that runs the ageing Vales Point coal power station is examining potential investments in gas power generation in NSW, as it seeks to tap opportunities arising from the coming exit of round-the-clock coal plants.

    Delta Energy, which is also studying battery storage projects, joins a growing list of companies keen to deepen investments in gas power that includes Andrew Forrest’s Squadron Energy as well as existing supplier EnergyAustralia.
