Is Lexus’ plug-in hybrid the best NX on the market?
A PHEV is either the perfect compromise or an expensive and unnecessary one, depending on your situation.
What is it? The Lexus NX 450h+ F Sport is the plug-in hybrid, or PHEV, version of the second-generation NX. The NX was once the “little” Lexus SUV, now it’s the medium-sized one – first because it has grown slightly in width and length, second because there are now UX and LBX models below it.
What does it cost? It’s $95,248 plus on-road costs for this range-topping version with PHEV tech, all-wheel drive, the F Sport equipment package, and plenty of comfort and convenience kit. Lesser NXs start at $63,400 (plus on-road costs).
